Welcome to Bogey Maid – a platform championing healthy body image and dedicated to recovery from Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).
I remained silent about my BDD for over two decades because, to me, it was nothing more than a “vanity curse,” my shameful, dirty little secret.
BDD isn’t something you simply outgrow, it’s not vanity, and it’s not a universal experience.
Don’t stay silent like I did. Recovery is possible.
